Bridal Wave

And Tropical Storm Morgan keeps rolling along, destroying everything in her wake.

Poor Jay. It's to his credit that he didn't have a complete design meltdown. Despite having quite possibly the worst client ever, he still maintained both his composure
(relatively speaking) and his aesthetic. In hindsight, this was interesting to watch because you can see it as a major step in Jay's development as a designer during the competition. He picked Morgan because she was "fun," but such considerations just aren't fitting in with his evolving and more competitive point of view anymore.

Besides, was she ever really "fun?" There's no denying that her brand of crazy makes for great television, but we can't imagine her being all that entertaining on a face-to face basis.

The infantile clapping. It makes us want to stab forks in our eyes.

"This is gonna be the greatest co... wait, what is it? [full minute of uncomfortable processing time] Challenge! This is gonna be the greatest challenge ever!" *claps like a retarded clown*

Oooookay.

"...because they LAUGH AT ME. WHO'S LAUGHING NOW BITCHES?"

Lorenzo really loves it; Tom not as much. It's striking and the bottom is kind of interesting. It has an elegant simplicity to it and it still looks "Jay."

Still, there was just something really off-putting about this dress. Maybe we're projecting too much of Morgan's personality on to it, but it has a restrictive, twisted, straightjacket quality to it that's...agitating.

Austin Scarlett, Man of Mystery

Girl, what the hell were you thinking?

"So, I figured, 'Why not shake things up and dress her up like a Chinese dragon?' I mean, when you think about it, it only makes sense, right?"

Before we get to the dress, can we just say...

...we hate the hairtits.

Seriously, what the hell? It's like, if Fred and Barney stopped off at a stripper joint on the way home from the quarry, this is what the girls would look like.

This honestly defies analysis. We still don't know what the hell he was thinking. It's just flat ugly and in no way even evokes the whisper of a wedding dress. More like a middle-aged barfly. On the starship Enterprise.

We'll say it.

She looks like she's shitting fabric. You just know Michael Kors said the same thing but they edited it out.

One of the very best things about Season 1, is the unintentional comedy provided by Heidi's rough-around-the-edges role as a hostess. We don't know what happened between Seasons 1 and 3, but we suspect it was something along the lines of Bravo sending her off to some kind of hostess boot camp.

Bitch had no idea she was even supposed to try to keep it off her face. We miss undiplomatic Heidi.

Oh and nice going with the rack-showing, girl.

Malan & Jody Watley

Malan Darling designed an outfit for the fabulous Jody Watley to wear this morning on the CW Morning Show and he provided us with the details on the whole look.

The outfit was a 1920's black lace jacket with a wide leather waist band. The skirt was black in the center and featured side panels of the lace over brown chiffon The lace was all hand made in the early 1900's. The high waistline was all black leather with an Asian frog detail. Watch the video here. Right after the first song, it goes to commercials and when they come back she talks about Project Runway and Malan. Fabulous!

Wet Hot American Fashion Designers

Those whacky designers have done it again!

Hey! Nora and Austin are wearing pieces from the Sarah Hudson dresses! How is it that we never noticed that before? We're surprised they were allowed to take them out. Was Bravo not auctioning off the garments this early in the game?

But Austin wears the big poofy bow well, doesn't he? Oh, what are we saying? He was BORN to wear big poofy bows.

Designers Gone Wild!

Once again, Bravo tries to hook the straight men.

Come and knock on our door
We've been waiting for you
Where the kisses are hers and hers and his
Three's Company too!

Melissa! What are you doing out, young lady?! Tonight is a school night!

Jeez, not only was this the drinkenest crowd of designers the show ever had, it was also the horniest.

That is, when they weren't acting like they were on their Senior trip.

"Always remember 6th period Calc!
Gave a GREAT summer!
GO BADGERS!!!!!!!
K.I.T.!!!!!!!!"

And like every Senior class...

There's always some jackass who can't handle the hormonal overload.
